Biography
Andrew Rozynski is a distinguished partner at Eisenberg & Baum, LLP. He harnesses his extensive experience as a civil rights attorney to passionately advocate for his client’s rights. His successful advocacy efforts have set legal precedents that have a positive ripple effect on numerous lives nationwide. In addition to his litigation work, he is the co-director of the Eisenberg & Baum Law Center for Deaf and Hard of Hearing and also leads the firm’s appellate practice.
Equipped with the dual skill sets of being both a formidable trial court litigator and an accomplished appellate lawyer, Mr. Rozynski stands out in the legal field. Mr. Rozynski is unique in his willingness to tackle problems other lawyers shy away from and uses creativity to find winning strategies that aren’t readily apparent. He has a well-earned reputation for successfully litigating cases of first impression
Mr. Rozynski also has a strong national presence, with admissions to over 40 Federal District and Appellate Courts spanning across more than 25 states. In his impactful career, he has obtained over 25 favorable verdicts from juries, judges, and arbitrators, testifying to his deep-seated commitment to his clients’ cause.
Mr. Rozynski’s experience in both state and federal appellate courts is widespread, he has argued dozens of cases in appellate and trial courts throughout the country, including the United States Supreme Court. He has championed the rights of his clients by obtaining numerous positive decisions from Courts of Appeals nationwide, overturning unfavorable rulings and affirming beneficial judgments.
In addition to his broad work on various civil rights cases, Mr. Rozynski has a wide array of experience of litigating cases involving Deaf discrimination. A personal connection to the Deaf community lends Mr. Rozynski a unique perspective when litigating Deaf discrimination cases. As a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults) with three Deaf relatives, he is not only fluent in sign language, but also possesses a deep understanding of Deaf culture, making him an invaluable advocate for the Deaf community.
A testament to his influence, Mr. Rozynski has handled numerous nationally significant cases across varied contexts, including hospitals, businesses, housing providers, government entities, courts, nursing homes, prisons, colleges, and workplaces. His cases have drawn the attention of high-profile publications such as The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Time and USA Today, along with television appearances on Fox News, ABC, NBC, and CBS.
Mr. Rozynski thrives on mentoring fellow attorneys and speaking to groups about civil rights issues and welcomes any opportunity to so. Mr. Rozynski has worked closely with and maintains good relationships with other civil rights advocacy organizations, including the United States Department of Justice, NAACP, ACLU and National Fair Housing Alliance.
