The deaf rights lawyers and deaf client liaison at the Eisenberg & Baum Law Center for Deaf and Hard of Hearing advocate for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing in a wide range of legal issues, including communication access, job discrimination, personal injury and sexual abuse or sexual harassment. They also offer assistance in other areas such as wills and trusts and real estate matters.
The center is committed to making sure that deaf or hard of hearing people get the protection they deserve to the fullest extent of the law at the local, state and federal levels. Every person has a right to be free from discrimination and a right to be provided reasonable accommodations.
We strive to have a welcoming, deaf-friendly office that provides accommodations, including sign language interpreters and a videophone for our clients. Our team includes a CODA attorney fluent in sign language and deaf client liaison Sheryl Eisenberg-Michalowski, who is deaf from birth and has committed her career to deaf rights issues. We also happily provide qualified ASL interpreters and Certified Deaf Interpreters (CDI).
If you are facing deaf discrimination or another legal matter, we will guide you through your legal options. Contact us for a free consultation.
