Brian Ullman

Brian Ullman, Esq.

Brian Ullman is a partner in the Litigation Practice Group of Eisenberg & Baum, LLP, with special emphasis on real estate related litigation. Mr. Ullman has extensive experience representing well known real estate firms, developers and property management companies, as well as large and small building owners. He handles a wide range of matters, including property ownership and boundary line disputes, easement and adverse possession claims, landlord-tenant litigations, lease disputes, breach of contract actions, brokerage commission disputes, bankruptcy litigations, and mechanic’s lien actions. Mr. Ullman also provides non-litigation services to real estate clients that include the negotiating and drafting of leases, licenses, lease assignments, indemnification agreements and access and termination agreements. He regularly appears in state and federal court and handles matters at both the trial and appellate levels.

Mr. Ullman’s practice also involves litigation that is unrelated to real estate and includes general commercial litigation, construction claims, architectural and engineering malpractice actions, commercial torts, products liability, guaranty actions, discrimination and trusts and estates litigation.

Prior to joining Eisenberg and Baum, Mr. Ullman was Senior Counsel with Lowenstein Sandler LLP and Epstein Becker & Green, PC.

Dov Goldman

Dov Goldman, Esq.

Dov Goldman, a partner at Eisenberg & Baum, LLP, is a real estate practitioner, representing equity partners in joint venture transactions. Mr. Goldman has represented owners of real estate in a variety of sophisticated transactions, including acquisitions, developments and sale/leaseback transactions. Mr. Goldman has worked with clients ranging from REITs to shopping center developers. He has represented borrowers and lenders in conduit loans, construction loans and development transactions, involving, among other things, office buildings, shopping center developments, hotel developments, golf courses and condominium developments.

Prior to joining Eisenberg & Baum, LLP, Mr. Goldman was a partner at Duval & Stachenfeld LLP and Wolf, Block, Schorr and Solis-Cohen LLP. Mr. Goldman graduated with cum laude from Queens College and from Fordham University Law School.

Lorenzo Delillo

Lorenzo V. DeLillo, Esq.

Lorenzo V. DeLillo, a partner in the Real Estate Practice Group of Eisenberg & Baum, LLP, focuses his practice on representing clients in residential and commercial real estate transactions and real estate management. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. DeLillo was senior counsel and head of the real estate department of a boutique law firm in New York City. Additionally, Mr. DeLillo served as General Counsel to the Sapir Organization, a privately held company with a prime commercial and residential portfolio exceeding 6 million square feet. Mr. DeLillo has been responsible for negotiating and closing numerous acquisitions and divestitures of properties throughout New York City, including closing prominent retail and office leases for both landlord and tenants.

Prior to his extensive experience in real estate matters, Mr. DeLillo co-managed the business and legal affairs of a boutique New York plaintiff’s personal injury law firm. Mr. DeLillo has experience spanning several legal disciplines and as a matter of practice offers guided legal and business solutions for his clients.

James Goldstein

James A. Goldstein, Esq.

James A. Goldstein is of counsel in the Real Estate and Corporate Practice Groups of Eisenberg & Baum, LLP, where he concentrates his practice on the acquisition, financing, and disposition of real property, as well as businesses transactions ranging from general corporate housekeeping to complex joint-venture arrangements.

Prior to joining Eisenberg & Baum, LLP, Mr. Goldstein was the managing partner of Goldstein, Zucker & Flynn, and, prior thereto, an associate at Sherman & Sterling LLP. Mr. Goldstein holds a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University, and received his law degree from the University of Virginia Law School, where he served on the editorial board of the University of Virginia Law School Law Review and was a member of the Order of the Coif.

Douglas Eisenberg is a co-founding and co-managing partner of Eisenberg & Baum, LLP, where he leads the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. Mr. Eisenberg has over 30 years of experience advising clients on transactions respecting real property. He regularly provides counsel to entrepreneurs, families, family offices, and closely-held businesses in a broad range of real estate matters, including the acquisition, ownership, operation, development, and divestiture of real property.

Mr. Eisenberg has particular experience advising clients with respect to sophisticated real estate transactions involving leveraged capital, complex financings, and co-investment vehicles. Prior to forming Eisenberg & Baum, LLP, Mr. Eisenberg was affiliated with Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, Kaye Scholer LLP and Robinson Silverman Pearce Aronsohn & Berman LLP. Mr. Eisenberg holds a Bachelor of Science from Brandeis University, a Master of Education from Harvard University, and Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School.
